EAZ FIX Enterprise Solution (RMC)
The EAZ FIX RMC solution delivers a complete client-server based network management solution for EAZ FIX Professional client installations. If you manage a network of computers across the local or wide area network, you can perform all EAZ FIX client functions remotely. The EAZ FIX RMC is a complimentary set of consoles that are provided to all clients that require remote administration of their EAZ FIX client installations.
EAZ FIX Enterprise (RMC) delivers a complete client-server based network management solution for EAZ FIX client installations. EAZ FIX RMC Components
EAZ FIX RMC is a free enterprise management tool that is provided to all clients of EAZ FIX client installations. The RollBack RMC consists of two components:
Remote Management Server is responsible for maintaining client workstations' connection to the Remote Management Console, it's the core component of EAZ FIX RMC. Without the Remote Management Server, client workstations would not be able to connect to the RMC. Remote Management Server works as a Windows system service without any user interface, the service can be started, stopped or restarted within the Windows Control Panel->Services.
Remote Management Console is the GUI based interface of EAZ FIX RMC. It is the component that the administrator would use to manage all EAZ FIX client workstations. It provides the graphic interface to view and manage client workstations. Remote Management Console connects to the Remote Management Server to manage connected client workstations.
Note: Although both RMS and RMC components are separate modules, they can both be installed onto the same PC. However, if you were wanting to connect to your workstations via the internet it would be advised to install the RMS (server) component onto a system outside of your firewall, so that you can access from any RMC admin workstation outside via the internet.
EAZ FIX Client
This is the installed component that is setup onto each PC that requires EAZ FIX protection. In previous versions of this product it was also known as EAZ FIX Professional. The EAZ FIX Client is the only application that is required to be installed on stand-alone PC's or PC networks small than three PC's. This is the same application that is sold to end-point users as our EAZ FIX client and previously as EAZ FIX Professional.
How The EAZ FIX Remote Enterprise Management Console works
In the example diagram both the RMS and RMC are installed onto the same workstation labelled "SERVER X"
EAZ FIX Enterprise is a client/server based architecture.
You install the server component, EAZ FIX Enterprise, on a network server or IT administrator's desktop.
You install the client component, EAZ FIX PRO clients, on client workstations.
You configure the client workstations (EAZ FIX Professional) to connect to the EAZ FIX Enterprise Console by IP or computer name.
You open the EAZ FIX Administrative Console to view and manage all the connected clients.
